| Cobalt steel magnetic needle strongly magnetized rolls, on knife –edges. The needle can be readily removed for reversal when not in use the movement of needle is stopped by a screw. The vertical scale is graduated in degrees, divided up in four equal quadrants, each ranging from 0 to 90oC. The case is made of Aluminum with glass on both sides and hinged door and a sensitive circular sprit level on the top. It rotates on a metallic tripod fitted with leveling screw. The lower graduated circle is divided in to 360O and is read by Vernier to 0.01 degree |
