Thermometer Platinum Resistance (SI-PH-1195)
Enclosed in a borosilicate glass tube of approximately 50cm long and 2cm diameter A fine platinum wire is wound on mica frame. Its resistance is approximately 2.8 ohms. Two compensatory leads are connected to four terminals on a square block. The terminals are marked CL and PL to represent compensating and platinum leads.

Ticker Tape timer (SI-PH-1198)
Operates on 12 volts A.C. the timer employs electromagnet, with spring loaded armature with vibrates above a support table for a carbon disc Paper tape ,drawn through guides on the table , is struck by a dotting screw carried on the armature . Additional with extra guides accommodate 4.5mm external diameter rubber tubing for the pearls in air, water drop experiment. The peg on the support table is moveable to allow maximum use of carbon paper discs. Supplied with 90-meter roll of tape and carbon disc The ticker tape timer produces dots spaced at 1/50 or 1/60 intervals depending on main frequency.

Young’s Modulus apparatus (SI-PH-1216)
The instrument consists of two iron frames connected by a link. The frames are fitted with self-centering chucks. An accurately cut micrometer screw to read to 0.01 mm and main scale of 0-10mm is fitted in one frame. One end of a sensitive spirit level is pivoted to one of the frames, the other ends rest on the point of a micrometer screw fitted in the other frame.
