It is used to determine the energy value of foods & fuels. It consists of a colorimeter vessel (made of Borosil) 205x100mm, height & diameter, comprising of integral water jacket and combustion chamber open at the bottom. At the top of combustion chamber, a heat exchanger (copper tubing) is connected and passes through the lid. The lid has holes for a wire stirrer and for inserting thermometer. A heat resisting platform is provided for putting the calorimeter vessel. It is supplied without stand, rod & power supply unit.

It is held on a strong wire ring (dia 30cm) with an Aluminium pipe.

Frame work fabricated out of seasoned teak wood with tongs & grooves type joints. The inner side of lid and bottom lined with EVA sheet suitable for repeated pining without leaving pin marks. Double walled and perforated fumigation chamber has been provided on all sides of bottom frame for storing pesticide. All fittings like hinges, clips and frames are of brass. Finish with moisture proof clear lacquer. Size: 45x30x7.5cm.

Made of seasoned wood which is covered with nonscaring,washable, synthetic EVA sheet suitable for repeated pinning without leaving pin marks. Grooves smoothly adjustable in width for various sizes of abdomen of various insects upto 12mm. Chrome plated brass fittings are used.

Utility for field where the insects can be stretched on the spot and can be securely kept inside. The box made of light weight white wood with tongs & grooves type joints. The top & bottom lined with 6mm EVA sheet over which adjustable strips for stretching insects. The strips can be fixed at one place with screw and fly nuts.
